1. Check if your claim is eligible for compensation

Not all claims are automatically covered by the CCS. To obtain compensation, the event must have been officially declared as an "extraordinary risk". This means that it must have been confirmed by the National Institute of Meteorology or another authorized body as a torrential rain phenomenon.

It is advisable that you check the conditions of the CCS to make sure that your situation applies. Generally, the entity covers material damages caused by floods, torrential rains or winds exceeding 120 km/h. This point is essential before proceeding with the rest of the steps.

Recommendations to facilitate the resolution of the claim
